About the Opportunity

As a Learning Operations Specialist at Contentful, you will play a critical role in enhancing the team and customer experiences within Learning Services. You will be responsible for providing operational support, managing content, and ensuring seamless workflows for both internal teams and external users and contribute to the success of our learning initiatives and drive continuous improvement in our processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to enhance user experiences within the Learning Center and assist internal teams.
  • Content Management: Streamline regular tasks to simplify workloads for team members, Contentful teams, partners, and end users.
  • Process Improvement: Innovate processes or develop new ones to elevate user experience and reduce administrative burdens.
  • Live Training Workflows: Manage live training workflows, including scheduling, updating information, coordinating session-specific emails, and troubleshooting live sessions.
  • Trainer Utilization: Proactively monitor trainer utilization and expand live training coverage to meet evolving demands.
  • LMS Governance: Oversee the governance of the LMS and collaborate on projects aimed at enhancing Learning Management System (LMS) functionality and offerings.
  • Content and Training Partnerships: Partner with content and training teams to implement, refine, and strategize processes for one-time and ongoing initiatives.
  • Customer Support: Serve as the first-tier contact for internal and external inquiries related to Learning Services including troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
  • Education: A bachelor's degree, ideally in an education, communication, business, or technical field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years experience working with an LMS and 3-5 years experience in a customer service role.
  • Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to resolve issues with a combination of tact, empathy, and (when necessary) firmness. Strong technical aptitude for learning, using, and troubleshooting software. Natural organizational skills and attention to detail as well as a penchant for creating, documenting, and following processes.
  • Personal Qualities: Proficiency in navigating dynamic environments, adeptly managing ambiguity, and remaining agile in fast-paced, evolving settings.
