Health Care Quality Improvement Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Health Care Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at WJM Professional Services LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing quality improvement/quality assurance services across the enterprise.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of our overall quality improvement (QI) program. This includes identifying trends, prioritizing and recommending improvements, reducing duplication, and ensuring external accreditation compliance. You will also investigate incident reports, patient complaints, patient care issues, and other concerns as requested by your supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the Health Services Quality Improvement Program.
- Prepare and submit relevant documentation as specified in applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with a team to develop technical directives that support quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide instruction to clinic staff and/or patients on an ad hoc basis.
- Work closely with the RN Field Technical Manager and Quality Improvement Board members.
Qualifications
- A diploma, certificate, or degree in healthcare management, quality improvement/quality assurance, nursing, or a related field is required.
- Three years of recent experience in healthcare quality improvement programs, including outcome reporting, is essential.
- Military health care quality improvement/quality assurance experience is highly valued.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding quality programs, including quality improvement and process improvement in a healthcare setting.
- Evidence of previous QI/QA project management experience, demonstrating an understanding of patient safety issues, recognized QI/QA standards, data analysis and reporting, and quality improvement skills.
- Documented quality improvement/quality assurance experience in the medical field, preferably in a leadership role.
- No adverse information on file with the National Practitioners Data Bank (NPDB).
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) for the Health Care Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI), or the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). If licensed, a current unrestricted active license to practice from one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
