Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Cancer Care Specialist to join our team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.

About the Role

This is a full-time night shift position in our Oncology Unit, where you will work closely with patients who are receiving cancer treatment. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing and admitting patients, conducting rounds, administering medications, and collaborating with family members to ensure the best possible care for your patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and admit patients, conduct regular rounds, and provide high-quality patient care.
  • Administer medications, chemotherapy, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and address concerns.

You will be part of a dynamic team that provides comprehensive cancer care, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, stem cell transplants, and symptom management.
