Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our Learning Care Group team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in your care, while also leading classroom management and curriculum implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Instruction: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners, with a focus on early childhood education.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support the center's success.
  • Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and support to new hires and fellow Teachers, while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Leadership and Administration: Assist with the management of the center, including opening and closing procedures, and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
  • College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
  • The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
