Position Overview

Role Responsibilities:

  • Application of EPA-approved aquatic herbicides and algaecides to maintain healthy water bodies.
  • Installation and upkeep of aeration systems, fountains, and compressed air setups.
  • Conducting thorough aquatic plant assessments.
  • Developing comprehensive vegetation management strategies.
  • Performing fish population assessments.
  • Participating in industry training sessions and conferences.
  • Engaging in extensive fieldwork from early spring through late fall.
  • Maintaining company vehicles, boats, and equipment.
  • Representing the company at pond clinics, trade shows, and community meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in fisheries science, aquatic biology, agriculture, or a related field.
  • Valid driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical.
  • Comfortable operating truck and boat trailer combinations.
  • Basic mechanical skills, particularly with outboard motors, are advantageous.
  • Ability to work outdoors and engage in physical labor.
  • Willingness to work an average of 50-60 hours weekly.
  • Capability to lift and carry over 50 pounds.
