Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and construct comprehensive multi-cloud computing architecture solutions that align with mission objectives.
  • Drive technological and architectural innovations to bolster the Sponsor's strategic vision, cloud transition, and ongoing development.
  • Lead the formulation of a technology framework and provide expert guidance to support the Sponsor's cloud computing and automation initiatives, focusing on the architecture of systems and services on cloud platforms.
  • Contribute to the establishment of a foundational multi-cloud architecture methodology and framework for integration within the C2E multi-cloud ecosystem.
  • Conduct research and analysis of multi-cloud architectures to identify and recommend suitable cloud architecture designs for various projects, programs, systems, entities, instances, IT assets, or data migrating into the multi-cloud environment with necessary classification levels.
  • Create high-level cloud architectures and prototypes that detail the multi-cloud resources required, mapping activity components into the cloud architecture, contextualized within the Sponsor's enterprise architecture.
  • Offer services to sustain and enhance the multi-cloud architecture in response to evolving mission needs, ensuring cost efficiency, resource consumption, and performance optimization across all Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of data models, data dictionaries, data maps, and other architectural artifacts throughout the enterprise.
  • Ensure all cloud solutions are designed in accordance with relevant policies, standards, and practices.
  • Provide innovative and effective architectural solutions to ambiguous requirements.
  • Evaluate and assess the impact of proposed changes to future architectures.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Over 9 years of experience in cloud and/or hybrid environments.
  • More than 9 years of proven experience in areas such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, including compute, storage, network, security, administration, automation, application services, and databases, in either native or hybrid cloud settings.
  • Expertise in designing and deploying cloud solutions on platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Experience in large-scale data architecture, data modeling, database design, and implementation of information systems.
  • Proficiency in architecting multi-cloud solutions specific to the C2E CSPs.
  • Adept at translating requirements into comprehensive designs for systems involving multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories.
  • Technical capability to engage with and evaluate relevant technologies applicable to IT2CE work.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across programs and initiatives.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or other cloud-related certifications.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quality assessment capabilities.
  • Experience with successful full lifecycle cloud development projects.
