Job Summary

As a key member of our culinary team, the Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are met. This includes managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and implementing new menu items and recipes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training and development
  • Maintain inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Implement new menu items and recipes
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses
  • Develop and implement menu planning and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new culinary concepts
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a culinary leadership role
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff and operations
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
