Job Title: Senior IT Manager Supply Chain Business Systems

STAAR Surgical is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Manager Supply Chain Business Systems to join our Information Technology team. This individual will play a critical role in defining, delivering, and supporting IT Supply Chain business solutions and roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide cost-effective business systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of business applications.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and document requirements, translating them into proper system requirement specifications and configuration.
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications, and industry requirements.
  • Operate as a liaison between technical personnel and end-user departments.
  • Evaluate and translate end-user needs and problems to technical associates and/or vendors where appropriate.
  • Understand the business implications of technical solutions and assist in defining and documenting technology solutions to support future business needs.
  • Instruct end-users on new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools and provide support for existing systems.
  • Monitor and maintain applications, restoring services for end-users.
  • Analyze application problems and coordinate workable solutions.
  • Participate in system software upgrades, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and deployment.
  • Ensure availability and performance of systems and application environments through proactive and reactive analysis and maintenance.
  • Lead new system selection processes, including requirement gathering, RFP development, and software vendor selection.
  • Manage service providers/vendors supporting business systems.
Requirements:
  • Prefer undergraduate degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or graduate degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience.
  • APICS Certified Planning and Inventory Management or Certified Supply Chain Professional highly desired.
Preferred Experience:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years working with Oracle Cloud ERP in Supply Chain modules.
  • Prior experience within highly regulated, validated medical device manufacturing experience highly desired.
  • 2+ years of IT management experience managing systems supporting ERP, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of business systems processes within the medical device manufacturing industry, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Manufacture, Product Lifecycle Management, and eQuality Management systems.
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle's Cloud ERP Configuration.
  • Understands the impact of emerging business trends and their implications for STAAR Surgical and its customers.
  • Excellent mentoring skills for developing subordinate staff.
  • Expert knowledge of and ability to put into practice commonly used SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
Compensation:

Pay range is $160k - $205k. Final compensation will depend on experience.
