IT Supply Chain Business Systems Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Manager to lead our Supply Chain Business Systems team at STAAR Surgical. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of business systems processes within the medical device manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities- Business Systems Analysis: Provide cost-effective business systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of business applications.
- Requirements Definition: Evaluate, analyze, and document requirements, translating them into proper system requirement specifications and configuration.
- Systems Scope and Objectives: Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications, and industry requirements.
- Liaison and Communication: Operate as a liaison between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user departments, evaluating and translating end-user needs and problems to technical associates and/or vendors where appropriate.
- Technical Solutions: Understand the business implications of technical solutions and assist in defining and documenting the technology solutions to support any future business needs.
- User Support and Training: Instruct end-users on new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools, as well as providing support for existing systems.
- System Maintenance and Upgrades: Monitor and maintain applications, restore services for end-users, analyze application problems, and coordinate workable solutions.
- System Software Upgrades: Participate in system software upgrades, including planning and scheduling, coordination, and deployment.
- System Availability and Performance: Ensure availability and performance of systems and application environments through proactive as well as reactive analysis and maintenance.
- Vendor Management: Manage service providers/vendors supporting business systems.
- Education and Training: Prefer undergraduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience.
- Experience: Prefer 10+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years working with Oracle Cloud ERP in Supply Chain modules.
- Skills: Expert knowledge of business systems processes within the medical device manufacturing industry, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Manufacture, Product Lifecycle Management, and eQuality Management systems.
- APICS Certification: APICS Certified Planning and Inventory Management or Certified Supply Chain Professional highly desired.
- IT Management Experience: 2+ years of IT management experience managing systems supporting ERP, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Warehouse Management System (WMS).
The pay range for this position is $160k - $205k, with final compensation depending on experience.
