Maury Microwave is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Ontario, CA. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by inspecting precision piece parts and sub-assemblies using various inspection equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect machined parts, purchased parts, and assemblies for first article (FAI), in-process, and final inspection
- Supports manufacturing with mechanical and visual inspection of parts per router or work instructions
- Records and maintains quality records required by the Maury quality procedures, AS9100, ISO 17025
- Serve as a technical resource on quality control and inspection validations as they arise
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 5 years of precision mechanical inspection experience required with calipers; micrometers; indicators; and various gauges, e.g., height gauges; height masters; air gauges; CMM; VMM
- Experience with measuring tools and capability of measuring with a tolerance of +/- .0002"
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write comprehensive inspection plans
