Job Summary

Sparrow Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Regional Manager Ready Mix to lead our quality control program and ensure the continuous production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
  • Formulate and maintain quality control objectives in alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
  • Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
  • Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product, quality, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
  • Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality in order to maintain customer relations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
Working Conditions
  • Capable to work extended hours as needed.
  • Potentially hot, cold, dusty, etc.
Physical Requirements
  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors.
