Job Overview

Tate, Inc., a leading provider of innovative solutions for the built environment, is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join its team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing, to develop and implement quality programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and procurement support: Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure that all sourced materials meet the required quality standards.
  • Technical support: Provide expertise and guidance to production teams on process improvements and technical issues.
  • Audits and compliance: Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure system and product compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Quality control: Design and implement testing methods to verify product quality and functionality.
  • Data analysis: Prepare and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Participate in technical reviews and provide input on design specifications and requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Engineering preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum two years of relevant experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Skills and knowledge: Practical application of quality tools, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies; knowledge of 3D modeling software (Solidworks) and drawings; experience with root cause analysis.
  • Soft skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
