Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a Fully Remote SLP in a North Carolina-based school district.

Job Summary:
  • Conduct comprehensive virtual evaluations to diagnose and assess speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring alignment with academic, social-emotional, and vocational goals.
  • Engage in intervention strategies tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities, focusing on improving communication skills for academic success and social interaction.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes in speech and language development.
  • Participate in school-based team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality speech-language services to students in a virtual setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and incorporate evidence-based interventions into treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctorate Level Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency)
  • Active Speech Language Pathology Licensure in the State of North Carolina
  • 2+ years of experience in school settings
  • 2+ years of experience with teletherapy (preferred)
