About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst for Media Solutions at Expedia Group plays a pivotal role in supporting the dynamic Media Solutions (MeSo) sector. This position is dedicated to enhancing the profitability of Expedia Group's travel audience while delivering financial insights for both immediate forecasts and strategic long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities
The individual in this role will:
1. Collaborate with Sales leadership to provide analytical support throughout the sales forecasting process.
2. Act as the primary liaison for support functions, focusing on process enhancements, research, analysis, and reporting as required.
3. Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports that emphasize critical insights and drivers related to marketing expenditures.
4. Partner with internal stakeholders in Lodging and Commercial Strategy to facilitate business case evaluations and expenditure requests.
5. Translate current business metrics to formulate quarterly forecasts and annual plans.
6. Share best practices across the team to enhance efficiency and contribute to team success.
7. Establish expertise in Media Solutions and effectively communicate business performance metrics across the organization.

Who You Are
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A BA/BS degree; CPA or MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable financial or analytical capacity.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting processes.
- A consultative, data-driven approach to addressing business challenges and implementing process improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage with all management levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- A keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity.
- Advanced Excel proficiency is essential, with a working knowledge of VBA preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, and Essbase is advantageous.
