Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate patient admissions by accurately assigning Medical Record Numbers (MRNs) and conducting necessary compliance checks.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while managing patient inquiries and providing clear instructions regarding their care.
  • Process insurance information and physician orders efficiently, ensuring adherence to organizational policies.
  • Conduct thorough audits of patient accounts to maintain accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in pre-registration activities, including collecting demographic and financial information from patients.
  • Explain consent forms and distribute essential patient education materials.
  • Utilize insurance verification systems to ensure eligibility and proper coding for billing processes.
  • Maintain a high standard of service and compassion in all interactions with patients and their families.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Certification in Revenue Cycle Management (CRCR) is required within six months of hire, with costs covered by the company.
