8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Monday - Thursday

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Minimum of one year of warehouse experience with standup forklift operation is required.

Role Purpose:
Warehouse operators are vital to our organization's success.

They engage actively, safely, and independently to ensure the smooth flow of products through our distribution channels while upholding quality standards.

As a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, you will manage material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.


The Forklift Operator is responsible for transporting incoming shipments to storage from staging areas, placing them in designated slots on multi-level racks, and timely replenishing pick slots while adhering to safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards to maintain an efficient production process. You will collaborate as a team member within the department and organization, performing any assigned duties to best serve the company.


Key Responsibilities:


- Identify appropriate slots on storage racks and position pallets using a forklift or manually stack items, entering product data and location into the system.
- Conduct count checks of incoming shipments in the staging area and transport them to the freezer using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items based on the next day's work orders.
- Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and remove outdated inventory in accordance with company policy.
- Redistribute overstocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
- Dispose of empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping in designated areas.
- Inspect empty pallets for damage, stack, and relocate them using a pallet jack or forklift to the appropriate storage area.
- Adhere to all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures as per company guidelines.
- Maintain a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions or actions immediately.
- Review work schedules, perform safety checks on equipment, gather necessary supplies, and prepare for operations.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards as outlined by the location and company guidelines.
- Operate based on receiving sheets, computer printouts, established procedures, and verbal or written instructions. Inspect items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks, and take appropriate actions as necessary.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties in the work area as needed.
- Replace discharged batteries with charged ones and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
- Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in warehouse and/or distribution environments.
- Minimum of one year of experience operating a standup forklift.
- Availability to work scheduled hours and required overtime.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting, stacking, and/or pulling products from shelves, as well as replenishing stock from various heights, with weights ranging from 10-35 pounds and generally up to 60-90 pounds, depending on the location.
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, including coolers, freezers, and dry areas.
- Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
