Overview:
The Logistics Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the activities of personnel involved in the processes of ordering, picking, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping various materials and supplies.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Flexibility to work weekends as necessary
Starting at 4:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct and manage the overall operations of the warehouse.
2. Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures related to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
3. Train and assess warehouse personnel on effective inventory management techniques and daily operational tasks.
4. Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing product loss.
5. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between floor counts and inventory records.
6. Schedule and oversee warehouse staff in alignment with labor budgets while meeting operational demands.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and standards set by relevant authorities.
Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance and inspection of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper operational practices are followed.
