Position Overview:

Job Title: Quality Assurance Solutions Architect

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the existing state of our Quality Engineering (QE) tools and frameworks, pinpointing technical deficiencies, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement.
  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business needs, technical limitations, and quality goals.
  • Formulate a detailed strategy for addressing technical deficiencies in QE tools and frameworks, prioritizing initiatives based on business significance and feasibility.
  • Design and construct robust, scalable solutions to resolve identified technical issues, utilizing best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Lead the execution of remediation initiatives, collaborating closely with development teams, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Offer technical mentorship and guidance to QA engineers, assisting them in understanding and adopting new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Conduct code evaluations, performance assessments, and technical reviews to ensure the quality and sustainability of QE tools and frameworks.
  • Establish and uphold documentation, standards, and guidelines for QE tools and frameworks, ensuring consistency and repeatability across projects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in quality assurance and software testing, integrating relevant insights into our technical strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate QE processes into the overall software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps pipeline.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Significant experience within the Banking sector.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a QA Architect, Technical Lead, or a similar role, with a focus on quality engineering tools and frameworks.
  • Thorough understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with various testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in programming and scripting languages, including Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to diagnose complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in agile environments and familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB), software architecture, or related fields are advantageous.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $120,000 – $130,000 annually. Factors influencing pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
