Job Overview:

As our corporate operations expand, we are looking for a dedicated full-time Manager to oversee our Commercial Operations team. This position plays a crucial role in assessing the credit risk associated with our portfolio, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. The Manager will develop analytical tools to identify and evaluate risks related to customer financials, collaborate with Account Management and Treasury for deeper customer insights, and present credit exposure findings to Executive management on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit strong technical knowledge in credit risk management.
  • Support the Account Management team in evaluating and analyzing customer credit risks.
  • Review credit data and make informed decisions regarding credit limits and holds for existing clients while balancing business risks.
  • Analyze portfolio data to identify and monitor significant risk factors, proposing solutions and escalating high-risk customers to Executive management.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses of customer portfolios as required.
  • Report on and analyze customer credit characteristics in relation to established policies and processes.
  • Foster strong working relationships with Account Management and Treasury, while maintaining objectivity.
  • Develop and assess various models for determining credit ratings and scores.
  • Access and query multiple databases, creating and maintaining relevant data sets.
  • Identify and suggest potential policy or operational enhancements to improve credit quality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA/CFA/CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in credit/risk management, with at least 5 years of overall professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior management experience is advantageous.
