Job Title: Final Test Equipment Engineer

At Yield Engineering Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled Final Test Equipment Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our equipment engineering group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our capital equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Train equipment technicians in the Final test area and mentor them to be efficient in their jobs.
  • Execute checklists and procedures, and update tasks as needed.
  • Train and certify technicians, ensuring they complete two skill practices before sign-off.
  • Verify Lock-out / Tag-out and Environmental Health & Safety guidelines are followed.
  • Travel to perform on-site supplier visits and train vendors on the Final Test Checklist.
  • Review supplier manufacturing processes and collaborate on process improvement opportunities.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to prevent non-conformity.
  • Undertake special projects and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in electrical engineering or electronics preferred.
  • Substantial experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working in equipment engineering in the Semiconductor, Solar, or LED industry.
  • Experience in the Final Test Area.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronics troubleshooting, vacuum, thermal, and Chemical Vapor Deposition systems.
  • Lean manufacturing skills and experience dealing with customers and suppliers.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $130,000 per year, with higher compensation available depending on advanced skills and experience. We also offer a performance-based annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
