Key Responsibilities- Coordinate construction efforts through in-house and contract laborer maintenance
- Supervise construction projects and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Inspect work progress, equipment, and project sites to verify safety and quality
- Confer with project managers and other departments to resolve problems and coordinate activities
- Coach workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, and safety procedures
- Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
- OSHA 30 certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to work independently and supervise others
- Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and make decisions collaboratively
- 1+ years of construction work experience
- Understanding of all safety requirements per OSHA specifications
- Underground, aerial, MDU, coax splicing, or fiber splicing experience preferred
Field environment, flexibility of schedule according to needs of operation; on-call rotation
