About the Role

Baptist Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer II to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will work closely with our physicians to provide exceptional patient care and maintain regulatory documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care activities, ensuring efficient patient flow and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Prepare patients for providers, maintain supplies, rooms, and medications, and perform and track tests and results.
  • Assist providers and nurses, perform chart documentation, review, and maintenance, and complete front office duties as assigned.
  • Maintain patient flow in clinical areas, perform clinical duties as directed, and obtain equipment needed for patient care delivery.
  • Provide coordination for health education and referrals to meet the immediate healthcare needs of patients.
  • Maintain current knowledge, certification, and licensure, and pursue professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience or completion of an ATC fellowship program.
  • Athletic Trainer License in the State of Florida, Certified Athletic Trainer (AT_BOC), and BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS) American Heart Association certifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and ability to seek and accept direction and clarification from others.
