Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality healthcare services to assigned schools and coverage sites, including injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation.
  • Act as an ambassador for Baptist Health Care and the Sports Medicine department, promoting access and availability of healthcare services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with school administrators, coaches, and athletic directors to promote the health and well-being of student-athletes.
  • Collaborate with the Sports Medicine Outreach Leadership team to develop and implement injury prevention and management programs.
  • Document and track athletic injuries, providing timely and accurate reporting to the Sports Medicine Outreach Leadership team.
  • Assist with departmental events, services, and activities, such as pre-participation physical exams and concussion baseline testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Athletic Training.
  • Current license in the State of Florida and/or Alabama, depending on the assigned state.
  • Current BOC Certification.
  • BLS through American Heart Association.
  • Knowledge of operations of the Sports Medicine Outreach Program.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and guidelines.
