Job Summary

As a Guest Service Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm and professional atmosphere for clients, recruits, customers, and employees. Your role will involve operating the switchboard, handling visitor interactions, and ensuring guests feel comfortable and secure throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Properly greet and handle visitors with a smile and maintain eye contact throughout the interaction.
  • Address guests and clients by name whenever possible.
  • Answer telephones in a friendly, professional manner, take messages with accuracy, and handle or refer questions and requests.
  • Handle on-floor conference room activities, including visually monitoring and using the reservations system to track meeting start/end times, attendees, food and beverage orders, and other details.
  • Advise staff members of changes in meeting room status, special requests, and other important information.
  • Implement established security policies and procedures for arriving and departing visitors, contractors, delivery persons, and other individuals.
  • Act as a Hospitality Services resource for guests, visitors, and employees, providing way-finding and amenities within the building, commuting, transportation, community retail, neighborhood amenities, and organizational communications.
  • Communicate requests to internal support departments, such as building maintenance, IT, AV technology, and mail room.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Two to three years of experience in a client service/reception position within a hospitality or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment.
