Job Description

This position offers a competitive salary of $30.90 per hour, with up to 50% local travel required. The Family Support Specialist will be supporting the Home Study (HS) and Post Release Services (PRS) department, working remotely from North Carolina.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough home study assessments for potential placements of Unaccompanied Children (UC), including background interviews, home assessment, and case analysis.
  • Provide post placement services and comprehensive case management for UC.
  • Carry a minimum caseload of 25 PRS cases, or at least 3 home studies with 20 PRS cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters of Social Work, behavioral science, or social services field, with at least two years' progressive experience.
  • Experience in child welfare, child placements, family preservation, and social service provision.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
