Job Overview

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for performing timely financial analysis and underwriting for renewals, annual reviews, and modifications. You will also monitor the portfolio for indicators of stress or risk and keep Relationship Managers informed of any issues. Additionally, you will identify and inform RM of cross-sell, referral, and credit expansion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and underwriting for portfolio management
  • Monitor the portfolio for indicators of stress or risk and take proactive measures to mitigate them
  • Keep Relationship Managers informed of any issues or opportunities
  • Identify and inform RM of cross-sell, referral, and credit expansion opportunities
  • Ensure timely completion of End of Month (EOM) reports and collection of financial statements and other required reporting requirements
  • Provide top client service in-line with the bank's expected high standards
  • Remain well-informed on all client matters to minimize risk
  • Complete annual reviews of credits and remain fully compliant on all client matters
  • Achieve individual and team goals and develop positive working relationships with all segments and individual bank partners


Requirements

  • Strong credit and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of commercial real estate credit facilities
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in commercial loan portfolio management/underwriting or a relevant area
  • Ability to work as part of the Middle Office team and take on special projects as needed
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field


Compensation

The expected annual salary for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual's skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
