Del Frisco's Grille is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and driving culinary excellence in our high-volume kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Satisfaction: Lead by example and demonstrate a 'Do Whatever It Takes' attitude to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Culinary Operations: Assist the Executive Chef in managing back-of-house staff, including training, development, and follow-up.
- Cost Management: Achieve or exceed budgeted labor and other cost centers through proper planning and execution.
- Inventory Management: Assist in overseeing weekly and monthly inventories, and ordering of food and supplies.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
- Culinary Experience: At least 2 years of Culinary Management experience in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
- Culinary Knowledge: Strong knowledge and attention to detail on back-of-house operations, including staff supervision, inventory controls, and food/labor cost, and product quality.
- Leadership Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
- Work History: Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic.
- Culinary Education: Graduate of an accredited culinary program is a plus.
- Competitive Salary: USD $65,000 - USD $75,000 per year.
