Mammography Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at McLaren USA. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammograms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain patient history and explain procedures to foster a sense of comfort and confidence in patients
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment to ensure proper function
  • Position patients and adjust controls to set exposure factors based on radiographic exposure techniques and protocols
  • Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and self
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology
  • Certification in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Certification in mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
