Job Overview

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) is looking for a part-time Community Engagement Facilitator to operate from the Center for Industrial Training. This role involves working three days a week from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

As a facilitator, you will oversee program participants' activities and provide instruction across various program components. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting participants in community-based activities, including identifying and utilizing local resources.
  • Assisting participants in accordance with their Individual Support Plan and/or Person-Centered Plan.
  • Guiding participants to develop positive behaviors that enhance their engagement in community activities and interactions with others.
  • Organizing and leading recreational and training programs and activities at the center.
  • Collaborating with team members on:
    • Conducting needs assessments
    • Delivering training as outlined in plans
    • Documenting baselines and progress
    • Providing periodic progress reports

Compensation: This part-time position offers a starting wage of $15.38 per hour.

Qualifications: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include secondary education or relevant experience working with individuals with disabilities. Physical capability to assist program participants is essential. A valid PA driver's license is required.
