Job Summary:
This position provides administrative support and technical program assistance to the Program Administrator and other managerial staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for disseminating information, maintaining filing systems, and performing internal administrative support work. The role involves interacting with DFPS staff, including program administrators, program directors, supervisors, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities:
Filing and control of secure and confidential records
Basic operations in administration of CPS business, including emac completion and purchasing of business materials
Tracking time and leave, and coordinating efforts among all techs to ensure efficient processes
Answering phone at desk, responding to inquiries, and taking messages
Preparing, editing, typing, and distributing various types of print and electronic correspondence, reports, forms, and records
Producing documents from written and dictated material
Assisting in compiling, entering, and analyzing data for reports
Reviewing, prioritizing, and processing incoming and outgoing agency print and electronic correspondence
Scheduling agency staff travel and processing required travel documentation
Coordinating and maintaining systems for inquiries
Developing and maintaining filing and record keeping systems, including electronic files and distribution lists
Coordinating meetings, producing agenda items, and distributing meeting notes
Handling inquiries by phone, providing general information or referring callers as needed
Providing support and reports to the Child Protective Services Program Administrator
Coordinating and scheduling meetings, conferences, trainings, and seminars
Handling registration, producing and distributing agenda items and materials, and recording and distributing meeting notes
Performing other duties as assigned and required to maintain CPS program activities
Promoting, monitoring, and ensuring that respect is demonstrated for cultural diversity
Attending work regularly in accordance with agency leave policy
