About the Role:
The Medical Assistant (MA II) is a vital member of our healthcare team, working under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide exceptional patient care. This role involves performing clinical duties as directed, assisting in providing patient care to assigned patients, and working in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of the Associate Medical Assistant (MA I) role and provide clinical support to patients and healthcare teams.
- Assist in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing administrative tasks.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants or equivalent combination of coursework, experience, and training.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months of medical assistant experience.
