Kelly Services, in collaboration with a leading global manufacturer of packaging solutions, is looking for a Quality Control Manager. This pivotal role is essential for maintaining compliance with industry regulations, enhancing operational effectiveness, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for training and guiding the local team to uphold the highest quality standards and adhere to the company's Quality Policy. This position involves addressing both internal and external quality issues, spearheading process enhancements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Quality Management System (QMS), including the creation and upkeep of relevant documentation.
  • Provide management with insights through performance reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Establish and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System's effectiveness.
  • Develop, implement, and document procedures for process control, enhancement, testing, and inspection.
  • Supervise the calibration and testing initiatives.
  • Conduct internal quality audits to ensure compliance.
  • Perform root cause analysis to determine corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Prepare necessary documentation to resolve internal and external quality issues.
  • Offer technical support to clients in troubleshooting technical challenges.
  • Administer the Integrated 5S Program for operational excellence.
  • Manage integrated management performance metrics and KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of pertinent experience in a manufacturing quality or regulatory environment, including supervisory duties.
  • Experience with ISO and FSC standards management.
  • Proven ability to initiate and complete projects efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Office365 is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Lean-Six Sigma training or certification is beneficial.
  • Auditing certification is an asset.
  • Experience in the packaging or food and beverage sectors is a plus.
