Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at The Panther Group. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of supplier materials and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the MRB process for supplier materials
  • Investigate trends and issue timely corrective action requests to suppliers to resolve discrepant material issues and determine root causes
  • Assure supplier contractual, regulatory, and technical compliance
  • Work closely with suppliers and the QinetiQ team to resolve supplier issues
  • Manage supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and discrepancy reporting
  • Perform supplier process surveillance & product source inspections
  • Update supplier database with performance records, declarations and certifications
  • Review program contractual and drawing requirements and support inspection activities

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Quality Engineering or related experience
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering preferred
  • Knowledgeable in AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and performance specifications
  • Familiarity with hardware inspection techniques
  • Experience working with mechanical design requirements and specifications
  • Experience with ERP and Enterprise Quality Management Software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams
