Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at The Panther Group. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of supplier materials and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the MRB process for supplier materials
- Investigate trends and issue timely corrective action requests to suppliers to resolve discrepant material issues and determine root causes
- Assure supplier contractual, regulatory, and technical compliance
- Work closely with suppliers and the QinetiQ team to resolve supplier issues
- Manage supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and discrepancy reporting
- Perform supplier process surveillance & product source inspections
- Update supplier database with performance records, declarations and certifications
- Review program contractual and drawing requirements and support inspection activities
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Quality Engineering or related experience
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering preferred
- Knowledgeable in AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and performance specifications
- Familiarity with hardware inspection techniques
- Experience working with mechanical design requirements and specifications
- Experience with ERP and Enterprise Quality Management Software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams
