Quality Assurance Technician Job Description

Kelly Services is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Product Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Test and Evaluation: Conduct tests and evaluations to determine the quality and performance of products.
  • Material Rejection: Oversee the Material Rejection Report (MRR) system to ensure proper procedures and manage out-of-specification material.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate all analytical devices, including lab equipment and plant balances.
  • Quality Control: Record and evaluate test data using statistical quality control procedures and generate reports to validate or indicate deviations from standards.
  • Factory Calibration: Administer the Factory Calibration Program for all gauges.
  • Defective Material Disposition: Manage the daily disposition of defective material in the label roll database following approved practices.
  • Quality Troubleshooting: Provide real-time troubleshooting and problem-solving for quality issues and recommend modifications to improve quality within equipment capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Quality Experience: Proven experience in quality inspection and assurance.
  • Quality Audits: Ability to conduct thorough quality audits and implement corrective actions.
  • Education: High school diploma required; a 2-year technical degree in engineering technology or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication skills, and demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
