Key Responsibilities:

Nucor Towers & Structures Inc is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Continuous Improvement (CI) Champion. The CI Champion will act as a primary leader in driving operational efficiencies and process enhancements across various teams. Key responsibilities include:
  • Facilitating the implementation and sustainability of the Continuous Improvement program
  • Assisting local teams in identifying and executing operational enhancements using lean methodologies
  • Leading process improvement initiatives, including layout optimization and cycle time reduction
  • Developing and executing an Annual CI Roadmap for the facility
  • Providing mentorship and guidance for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conducting regular Gemba walks to identify and address operational issues
  • Implementing waste reduction strategies to enhance operational efficiency
  • Leading daily management meetings to track progress and address challenges
  • Monitoring site-level KPIs and implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • Conducting 5S audits to maintain workplace organization
  • Promoting continuous improvement and safety initiatives throughout the site
  • Sharing best practices and successful initiatives across the NTS network
  • Developing business cases for improvement projects

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical vocational training preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
