Job Summary

NPC Global is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the production, warehousing, safety, engineering, and planning departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with the Divisional Purchasing Department to coordinate material requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Team Management: Build and maintain a high-performing cross-functional team, including department heads, to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient productivity.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and monitor training requirements to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Performance Metrics: Analyze and propose solutions to improve key metrics, such as productivity, quality, and safety, to ensure alignment with production planning requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and cost reduction methods to maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with OSHA and other governmental regulations affecting the operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: College degree preferred and/or 15+ years of proven track record as a senior or executive leader within a consumer manufacturing industry.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with other corporate departments.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment.
  • Operational Knowledge: Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including customer service, production, planning, facility operations, and employee management.
  • Problem-Solving: Foresight to propose additional changes to operations or new equipment/modifications to accelerate production performance.
  • Organizational Skills: Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, determined by previous professional success.
  • Data Analysis: Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software.
