Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Advocate Health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, ensuring accurate and timely medical records, and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Services: Provide efficient and high-quality service to patients, including greeting and registering patients, coordinating scheduling, and answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Billing Services: Ensure accurate entry of billing information and follow up on missing information.
  • Medical Record Services: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including releasing information according to corporate policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of related customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, multiple-task environment.
  • Exposure to ill patients.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions with demanding customers.
