Position Overview:
Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) is seeking a dedicated professional to join our Geotechnical Department.

In this role, you will work under the guidance of a project manager or supervisor, assisting in the organization and execution of field, laboratory, and technical tasks across various projects.

This position offers substantial practical training to enhance your theoretical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute technical assignments with increasing complexity based on your experience.
- Conduct field explorations, documenting observations and activities.
- Organize and oversee field operations effectively.
- Install, interpret, and monitor field instrumentation while performing measurements.
- Collect samples and ensure their safe transport to the laboratory.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing field and laboratory findings.
- Conduct scientific, geological, or engineering analyses as required.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in all project-related work.
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Implement loss prevention strategies.
- Communicate any technical or administrative issues to your supervisor promptly.
- Prepare technical documentation for both routine and complex projects, depending on your experience.
- Work independently on diverse assignments, exercising sound judgment on technical matters.
- Engage in discussions with clients regarding technical aspects after obtaining supervisor approval.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and external groups.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field is advantageous.
- Two to five years of relevant experience in the specialty field.

- An advanced degree may substitute for two to three years of the required experience.
