Admission Nurse

The Admission Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of new residents into our facility. This role requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can provide exceptional care and support to our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and assist in the admission process of new residents
Ensure accurate and timely completion of new admission orders
Provide orientation to new residents and their families
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure best practices in nursing care
Maintain open communication with residents, families, volunteers, staff, and other stakeholders
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a RN diploma or degree
Three years of progressive nursing management experience, preferably in a long term care setting
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of state and local regulations regarding long term care
