Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist III to lead the health information management team in our public health center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health records management, electronic health records (EHRs), and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of health records
  • Participate in QA/QI processes to ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
  • Lead training programs for staff on health records management and EHR systems
  • Represent Health Information Management as the site-based SME and participate in Division HIM meetings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in health information or related field
  • Experience working with EHR systems, including Epic
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
