Training Coordinator for Field Service Engineers

Overview:

This role is essential for monitoring the training competencies of all Field Service Engineers (FSEs) across various equipment and modules. It involves close collaboration with the EVG Academy team to develop and document new training-related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

To excel in this position, the individual must effectively manage the following responsibilities:

  1. Organize and schedule all relevant training sessions for Field Service Engineers both domestically and at headquarters.
  2. Monitor and assess the proficiency levels of all Field Service Engineers within the domestic scope.
  3. Provide technical assistance for local training apparatus.
  4. Plan and prepare technical courses tailored for both internal and external clients.
  5. Oversee and track course completions and gather customer feedback regarding training through our learning management system.
  6. Assist in the development of training content.
  7. Coordinate modifications to training materials with the Documentation team and support the introduction of new procedures.
  8. Deliver foundational training to Field Service Engineers.
  9. Assess the on-site knowledge of Field Service Engineers and devise additional training plans as necessary.
  10. Perform tasks with minimal supervision while mentoring and providing technical guidance to on-site Field Service Engineers.

Qualifications / Education / Skills and Experience:

  1. A minimum of an associate degree or bachelor's degree, along with at least three (3) years of experience with EVG equipment, or 6-10 years of experience in the installation and repair of semiconductor or electronic production machinery.
  2. Extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment or similar systems.
  3. Proficient in English with strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and high social competence.
  4. Preferred experience or education as a trainer in a technical setting.
  5. Qualification of maintenance personnel based on standard procedures and on-site issues.
  6. Familiarity with customer equipment and processes as a trainer.
  7. Facilitate a unified understanding and operational procedures across various teams.

Physical Requirements:

  1. While fulfilling the duties of this role, the individual is frequently required to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity is necessary. The individual must also be able to use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls and occasionally reach above shoulder level.
  2. Must be able to wear appropriate cleanroom attire and work in a cleanroom environment for a significant portion of the time.
