Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Emory L. Bennett State Veterans' Nursing Home in Daytona Beach, FL. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with feeding, hydration, and mobility
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to primary nurse or RN supervisor
  • Document all care given on the appropriate form or electronic patient care documentation system
  • Respond to resident requests and needs in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Participate in facility training and education programs
Requirements
  • Current Florida licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes evening, night, or weekend shifts
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process, including a Level II Background check, fingerprinting, and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a long-term care facility working with a geriatric population
  • Possess a valid CPR certification
