About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Promoter to join our team at the Honickman Companies. As a key member of our sales and merchandising team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and Sales Execution: Maintain shelving, rotate products, and verify correct shelf prices to ensure optimal product visibility and sales performance.
  • Display Management: Build, merchandise, and maintain all secondary and promotional displays to conform to company standards, driving brand awareness and sales.
  • Cooler and Vendor Management: Merchandise and fill all coolers, vendors, and racks to standard on every visit, ensuring consistent product availability and presentation.
  • Account Management: Call on each account as scheduled, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Rapport Building: Create, develop, and maintain a strong rapport with every account, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Inventory Management: Manage, rotate, and maintain back-stock where applicable, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Damage Control: Collect and organize damaged product into designated areas, minimizing losses and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Communication: Call in all customer requests to your immediate supervisor, ensuring prompt and effective issue resolution.
  • Meetings and Training: Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all company and customer safety guidelines and policies, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Driver's License: Must maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Experience: Two years merchandising/sales and/or customer contact experience.
  • Office Equipment: Proficient in office equipment, including computers, phones, fax machines, copiers, and calculators.
  • Software: MS Office, including Word and Excel.
