As an International Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in reducing threats posed by proliferator states and terrorist organizations. This requires advanced knowledge in national security, nonproliferation, counterproliferation, and counterterrorism.

  • This role involves researching global WMD proliferation threats and maintaining awareness of current activities, vulnerabilities, and trends.
  • You will assist with programmatic, technical, budgetary, and international expertise to design, develop, execute, and implement international WMD threat reduction activities.
  • The selected candidate will collaborate and coordinate with third-party implementers, drawing upon terminal degrees and significant applied professional experience in national security and related fields.
  • Strong writing skills and demonstrated experience in analysis, research, strategy development, and interagency coordination are essential for this position.
  • This role requires the ability to work in a culturally sensitive manner and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • An active Secret Clearance is required, with TS/SCI desired.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:">">
  • ">
  • A PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field with 0+ years' experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in one or more fields: national security, nonproliferation, counterproliferation and counterproliferation finance, counterterrorism, foreign assistance programming and budgets, understanding of countries or regions of interest, or science, engineering, or advanced and emerging technologies related to the development of WMD.
  • Strong writing skills and demonstrated experience in analysis, research, strategy development, and interagency coordination.
  • Experience implementing international programs in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Active Secret Clearance. TS/SCI desired.
