Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Provide direct, non-licensed patient care in accordance with established methods and procedures, under the supervision and guidance of appropriate personnel.
  • Environment Management: Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to OSHA standards and unit/department standards.
  • Supply Management/Clerical: Order and stock supplies, demonstrate cost containment practices, and distribute supplies to appropriate areas.
  • Patient Care/Safety: Document patient information accurately and timely, report unusual situations, and assist patients with personal hygiene needs.
  • Code of Conduct/Professionalism: Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills, respect patient rights, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Clinical Skills: Maintain clinical skills necessary to perform duty/job, demonstrate competency with procedures, and participate in achieving institution-wide quality outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Certifications: AHA CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, demonstrate computer skills, and communicate effectively.
