Job Summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a highly skilled Energy Efficiency Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our energy efficiency team, you will provide expert technical support to customers and trade allies, helping them to reduce energy consumption and costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide energy advice and coordination services for energy efficiency programs, including building maintenance, lighting, controls, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Work with business and building owners, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide energy efficiency advice and assistance in participating energy efficiency or energy conservation programs.
  • Analyze building utility bills to determine energy usage trends and identify opportunities for energy efficiency.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting energy-saving opportunities and solutions.
  • Collaborate with other Energy Advisors and Energy Engineers to maximize technical support to the client base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 1-3 years of engineering experience related to mechanical design, energy modeling, or construction.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the energy efficiency industry.
  • Strong understanding of how systems affect energy consumption and ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
