Energy Engineer Role at AECOM

AECOM is seeking a skilled Energy Engineer to join our growing Energy Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering smart energy projects that leverage the use of data analytics to identify, analyze, and specify energy reduction measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver smart energy projects that reduce energy consumption and costs.
  • Conduct energy audits and site investigations to identify energy reduction opportunities.
  • Interface with customers to identify project needs and communicate engineering solutions.
  • Analyze utility data to determine customer energy performance parameters and develop applicable rate structures.
  • Perform energy calculations using temperature-bin analysis methods and building energy modeling simulations.
  • Develop cost estimates associated with energy conservation measures.
  • Write technical scopes of work for subcontractors and detailed ECM and technical approach descriptions.
  • Lead client project meetings to inform stakeholders' understanding of data analysis output.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • 4 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of the energy services industry and complex HVAC systems.
  • A valid US Driver's License, and as a condition of employment, pass AECOM's motor vehicle records review.
