Job Summary

The Family Liaison, Creative Support Specialist will provide critical support to the after-school program, ensuring the safety and security of participants and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Participant Safety and Security
    • Implement and maintain after-school protocols and procedures to ensure participant safety and security.
    • Monitor and report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities.
  • Manage the After-School Office
    • Oversee the daily operations of the after-school office, including managing supplies and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
    • Provide administrative support to the program staff, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Monitor and Maintain Records
    • Collect and compile daily and monthly attendance records of participants.
    • Input attendance data into the database on a daily basis.
  • Communicate with Parents and Guardians
    • Follow up with parents and guardians regarding participant attendance and progress.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to parents and guardians.
  • Perform Other Duties as Needed
    • Assist with special events and programs as needed.
    • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the program staff.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic computer skills and knowledge of database software.
  • Clearances and Certifications
    • Must obtain Department of Health, Department of Education fingerprint clearance.
    • Must obtain doctor's note certifying good health and proof of negative results from TB test.
    • Must obtain Staff Exclusion List (SEL) clearance and State Central Registry (SCR) clearance.
Compensation and Benefits

$21.00 hourly
