About the Role

We're seeking a talented Design Studio Specialist to join our team at Pottery Barn. As a key member of our design team, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of our customers' lives at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize your design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations, driving store sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Perform in-home consultations, accurately measuring and assessing clients' living spaces to create personalized design plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals.
  • Provide World-class service standards, assisting customers with special services, including gift wrap, gift registry, and furniture orders.
  • Demonstrate superior product knowledge, including features and benefits of our design studio assortment.
Requirements
  • Strong communication, clienteling, and customer follow-up skills.
  • Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within various sales channels.
  • Experience in working with design elements preferred.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, with specialty retail experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
  • Full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet business needs.
  • Part-time associates must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, including two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend and two during the week.
