About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front End Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a Front End Supervisor, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience and overseeing a team of Associates at the front of store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive internal and external customer experience by providing exceptional service and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles, including personalizing the customer experience and promoting loyalty programs.
  • Assign registers, support and respond to POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates.
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ensure Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizing as needed and communicating effectively with management and Associates.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, partnering with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, promoting credit and loyalty programs and supporting store shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment, performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors, able to train others.
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Compensation

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
